Depersonalization disorder (DPD) is a dissociative disorder in which the sufferer is affected by persistent or recurrent feelings of depersonalization and/or derealization. The symptoms include a sense of automation, going through the motions of life but not experiencing it, feeling as though one is in a movie, feeling as though one is in a dream, feeling a disconnection from one's body; out-of-body experience, a detachment from one's body, environment and difficulty relating oneself to reality.

the box we imprison ourselves in the process of creating our physical imagery, in some means the attempt to label our existence. this photo is taken to emphasize the idea of two people being stuck in a box. they become transparent when they tend to push the limits.

Minimalism

Throughout my investigations, I created photographs, stop-motion videos and a sculpture. These were a visual contemplation on dynamics between encounters or rather instinctual on dynamics between encounters or rather instinctual relationships. The minimalistic approach within these pieces, aims to focus on the essence of form and movement between containters; which imply a symbolic parallelism to life.
I have found inspiration in the circular shape of a organic yet human made ceramic container which aims to give birth and to ensure the safety of growth, like a mother to a child. Also I was inspired by the forms arranged as they are united. The holes at the bottom of the containers allow for air, breath and flow as a complementary element within a concave shape.
